Brisbane
I've made it to Brisbane and have already takena quick foot tour. Like Sydney and Perth, this is a nice place. A good mix of modern and older buildings. I found a hostel downtown, and I must say it pretty cool. An 8 level hostel with everything you need near by. Even a car park right a cross the street to house the new ride.

So what's the new ride? for some reason, when I think of cars and australia, I think of a VW Thing. I just imagine something made of quarter-inch thick steel, that breaks down every 80 miles, but can be fixed with a pliers, a hex wrench, and an 18 pound hammer. In all likelihood, however, this is fiction invented by my rusty brain. Do they have an option for heat-seaking, endangered species tracking mode?

The ne ride is a ford falcon. I got it with a mere 7,500km on it. I think it'll be around 10,000km when I'm through with it. Actually it's mostly newer (80's and later) vehicals, lots of little pick-ups that are pretty much just a new el-camino. The thing is they put bull bars (deer killer)on everything, semis, little cars, suvs, anything.
